Is the price negotiable?

Most things in life are negotiable, so your car is no exception, we are open to negotiations.

How long does it take for me to get the vehicle after confirmation?

It all depends on whether a car financing loan is needed for purchase of the car.
- If not, then we can arrange for delivery after obtaining the insurance documentation
- If yes, then we need to process the necessary documentation including insurance and this normally takes about 5 working days to process.

What documentation do I need to apply for a loan?

We will provide you with the necessary forms to be filled with clear copies of the following to be provided by you as follows:
- Copy of your identification card (both front & back) OR passport
- Copy of your driving licence
- Proof of income tax OR proof of 2 months salary slips
- Copy of signed bank OR finance leasing application form

For purchase of vehicle under company's name, we will need the following documents: - Company Director's Full Particulars - Income Proof - Latest printout of the company's Registry of Companies & Businesses - Company's Bank statement, where applicable

What are the charges to be borne by me?

The price quoted by Nordad Pte Ltd does not include the transfer fee charges, insurance and first advance payment to your bank of choice. You may also have to pay the initial downpayment on your vehicle.

Does the car come with a warranty?

If the car does not have an agent’s warranty, then there will be a 12 months or a 20,000 km travelled warranty on the engine and gear box, from the day you drive the car away.

Can I retain my number plates of a pre-owned car? What are the charges involved?

Yes, you can retain the numbers and you would have to pay LTA a total sum of S$1300 for the retention, and this amount also includes the registration fees.

Can I test drive your car?

You are most welcome to test drive the car, as long as you possess a valid driving licence.

Do you provide viewing at requested premises or “Door Step” viewing?

Yes, we do provide this service for the convenience of genuinely interested buyers.

Can I buy a car if I am under 21 years of age?

As long as you have a valid driving licence, even if you are less than 21 years of age, you can buy a car. However if you intend to take a financing loan for the car and you are under 21 years old, then you will need a guarantor who is staying at the same address as you and is above 21 years of age.

Do you open on weekends and public holidays?

Yes, we open daily from 10:00am to 7:00pm

How do you arrange for insurance? Does this cover driving/ travelling in Malaysia?

We have links to some of the best and most affordable quotations from reliable and well-known insurance companies like AXA, AIG, NTUC, AVIVA, Nippon, Sumitomo, Asia among others. And yes, you are covered for driving/ travelling in Malaysia.

I just renewed my insurance and road tax for my existing car. Will I get a refund?

If you are planning to sell your car in the local market, you will only get a refund from the previous insurance company after cancelling the policy with them. However the road tax will not be refunded and should be factored into your selling price.

If I want to consign my car to you, when and how can this be arranged and how can safe is this practice?

You can choose to visit us at our office or at any place convenient for evaluation of your vehicle. We will need valid information and take photos of your car for advertising and marketing purposes. You can then chose to either drive the car away or leave it at our closely-guarded showroom premises, where we will take full responsibility for your vehicle. Any requests for test-drives and price confirmation of sale will only be done with your approval. As we have 24-hours camera surveillance, you can be assured, it is very safe to leave your vehicle in our hands.
