How is shipment arranged?
Upon confirmation of your payment, we will prepare your vehicle(s) for shipment to the desired port on the next available ship. Once your place is booked, we will contact you to inform you of the ship it has been placed on, along with the estimated time of arrival of the vessel. This will allow you time to prepare. It is important to provide us with your correct contact details as follows:
1) Full name
2) Address
3) Telephone/fax number so that release of your vehicle from the ship becomes a smooth process.
Please ensure you email us this information correctly to avoid delays in release.
How do I clear my vehicle from the Port?
Upon receipt of full funds and payment Nordad will surrender the BL for you and fax you the BL copy. This will assist you in clearing your car from the port. With copy in hand you simply go down to the appointed freight forwarder (always ring in advance to avoid wasting time), give them your copy and they will then release your car.
It is best if you contact your local shipping agents individually for further clarification.
